The Cystic Fibrosis Xtreme Hike for Patrick’s Posse is coming up on Saturday, June 6^th out at Mt. Greylock in Western MA. I will again be volunteering and doing my virtual hike trail time sometime before or on hike day! The Posse is back again!!! Tight donation timeline explained below.

Patrick continues to thrive. He is climbing the ladder at his sales job in Boston and spends time traveling with his family and friends. And keeping up his good health at frequent visits to the gym! Here are few pictures from his recent family trip to Portugal. The Posse goes global!

Why do we keep hiking if some CF warriors like Patrick are doing well on Tricafta, the drug released a few years back that pumped up the life expectancy numbers for 90% of the CF population? The most important reason is to honor those who have lost the battle to CF, like a friend of the Posse, 25-year-old Maggie who lost her battle at 25 last month.  She was part of the 10% who cannot use the drug and are struggling to win the battle against CF. Also, Trifcafta is life-extending, NOT a cure. So, we hike on for a CURE for CF and for TREATMENT for all.

I have been so lucky to have the generous support from all of you over the years and the ability to double that support through the State Street Collect More Match. Well, this is the last year for that boost as I am retiring on June 1^st. Time for the next chapter!!!

So, I need to submit the collect more match by May 28^th to get my match in before I leave the system!! I know it doesn’t give you much time to get your donation in, but if you can do it soon, I’d REALLY appreciate it!!
