There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m hiking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

Kiran, the son of my good friends Carolyn and Arvin, was diagnosed with CF before he turned one. He just turned 11 and is very lucky in many ways; he has benefitted greatly from the research that has been done and the new therapies that have been found, though it has not been an easy road for Kiran or the thousands of others impacted by CF
