Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. We're hiking to help change that reality.
Our son Kiran was diagnosed with CF before he turned one. Fortunately, the past decade has been full of bright spots in research and treatment options. Innovative therapies are transforming the lives of thousands of people like Kiran, however with progress comes new challenges. Genetic therapies- our best hope for a cure for all, are more complex than anything previously attempted and will require substantial investment.

While the CF Foundation has made incredible progress, not everyone with CF can benefit from existing therapies and we still need a cure. This will require time, funding, and persistence – but with your support – we are ready to go the distance.
This May, Team Kiran will again be participating in the CFF Xtreme Hike, a one-day 25-mile hike in the Berkshires to continue our efforts in supporting the CFF's mission to fund research and drug development, promote individualized treatment, and ensure access to high-quality, specialized care.
