Well, this past year has been an up and down event for me. I've lost a little vision in my right eye and the treatments have only slightly returned some improvement. Just enough to be annoying and an ongoing concern as to how this will work out. I'm stuck wearing my glasses instead of my contacts, because I can't focus my right eye with this condition. But, I am a super fortunate guy. I have a wonderful daughter, great friends and can yet again participate in the MA/RI Extreme Hike. Individuals and family that have to deal with CF have benefited greatly from the research for a cure, but there is still more work to be done. I am so lucky that my family hasn't been touched by CF. There have been great strides in the treatment of CF, but there is still much to do before we can say job done. I'm asking for your help in my fundraising for a cure for everyone with CF. Thank you in advance and hopefully sometime sooner than later, I will be able to say I'm hiking for a different cause. Bless you all.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m hiking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
