Hi
This is my personal page for the Xtreme Hike, BUT it is NOT my page it is Dylan's page because that is why I am here!!  He is the reason I am doing this, he is the reason I am hiking 30 miles on October 3rd. ( Oh and hiking a total of 100+ miles during all the training hikes to get ready for that one day! )
 HE IS WHY we/I hike!  To support the CF foundation! To fund research in order to stop this deadly disease!  To HELP Dylan live a longer life! 
 Because he will die one day from CF !  
BUT I am hiking so I / WE CAN stop that!!!!!
As many of you may or may not know my Grandson Dylan has CF and everyday he fights that deadly disease through treatments and special medicine, everyday!   IF you see him he is a funny, happy go lucky, 14 year old boy.  He DOES know that one day CF will take his life far sooner than normal people.  He DOES know going in for a bank of test every 3 months and that HE has to do treatments twice everyday of his life....
He is just a boy with a Grandpa that loves him with all his heart... and wants him to have a full life like all little boys should.....
He is my life line to Life, Love, and Happiness and I will do everything I can to help him!
There are approximately 30,000 people in the United States living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I hike for Dylan and ALL of them!!
