About the West Rim Trail (limited to 10 hikers)
The West Rim Trail is a stunning 16.2-mile journey from Lava Point down to the Grotto in Zion Canyon, featuring a 3,600-foot descent and unforgettable scenery throughout. This strenuous but rewarding route leads hikers along high plateaus, past sweeping views of Wildcat Canyon, the White Cliffs, and the dramatic formations of the Great West Canyon before winding through Potato Hollow and across photogenic overlooks like Hammerhead Viewpoint. The final miles are truly spectacular, as the trail zigzags down carved cliffside switchbacks, passes scenic canyons such as Behunin and Refrigerator Canyon, and ends with the iconic Walter's Wiggles descent into Zion Canyon-finishing at the banks of the Virgin River.
About the Kolob Arch Hike
This out-and-back hike is about 15 miles and the trail winds through high desert plateaus, finger canyons, and rugged sandstone landscapes, offering sweeping views of red rock formations. Kolob Arch, is one of the world’s largest freestanding natural arches, dramatically tucked into a secluded alcove beneath towering sandstone cliffs. More details to come.
