Hiking for Cystic Fibrosis

Fundraising for Zion Xtreme Hike

This year, I'm taking on the challenge of the Xtreme Hike to raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis—a cause incredibly close to my heart. My wife battles cystic fibrosis every single day with strength, resilience, and grace, and I want to honor her journey by pushing my own limits on this demanding adventure.
An update from Lindy: "I continue to enjoy stable health through the miracle of modern medicine. I've been able to work part-time in the school district, travel, move homes, and continue being physically active because of the modulator Trikafta, which corrects the defective gene. My outward symptoms are all but gone. It is amazing! The most current news is that I feel healthy enough to go back to college and finish my associate's degree! I start with an online class this summer and if all goes to plan, I will graduate in the spring. I never thought my health would allow for this but I'm now planning for a career in the medical field (radiology technician). Even as I write this, I'm in shock about how different my life is now than it was 5 years ago. I'm humbled and so thankful. This is not a cure, therefore, it is not the end. We get closer every year but we've got to keep up the momentum #untilitsdone."
With your support, we can take another step along the trail to a future where cystic fibrosis is no longer a life-altering diagnosis. Your donation will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, funding critical research, care, and support for those living with this disease. Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of so many. Please join me in this fight and help me support my wife on this important journey.
