Sedona Xtreme Hike

The Sedona Xtreme Hike is a beautiful, desert landscape trail in the heart of the red rocks and energy vortexes of Arizona. The Arizona Chapter of the CF Foundation hosts this extraordinary endurance event to raise awareness and funds to help those with CF live long, fulfilling lives and to one day find a cure.

The CF Foundation Sedona Xtreme Hike requires sacrifice and determination, and challenges each hiker to reach personal and
philanthropic milestones which celebrate and support those living with CF. In addition to the physical commitment, each hiker takes on the challenge to reach a fundraising goal of $3,000 or more!

The Hikers Journey

Hikers check-in at the CFF Arizona Chapter office in Phoenix, AZ on Friday, March 28th. All Xtreme Hikers travel together on a comfortable motor coach to the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. You may choose to explore uptown Sedona with their New Age shops, spas, and art galleries or travel directly to Poco Diablo Resort and Spa for lunch and relaxation. Lodging is provided for two nights, (double occupancy for two hikers in the same family and/or team). The group enjoys a pre-hike dinner on Friday evening.

On Saturday morning, March 29th, hikers board an early bus to the trailhead. Three fully stocked rest stops will provide an assortment of breakfast, snack, and lunch along the Xtreme Sonoran Desert trail. 17 miles later enjoy a Finish Line Celebration with fellow hikers, guides, and volunteers. Hikers are shuttled back to Poco Diablo Resort and Spa for dinner on their own.

On Sunday morning, March 30th, hikers enjoy a Victory Breakfast before their return trip to Phoenix.
