Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other essential organs, making it difficult to breathe, absorb nutrients, and fight infections. It impacts every aspect of life, from the ability to eat and digest food properly to the ongoing struggle against life-threatening infections. Although significant progress has been made, many people with CF still face staggering daily challenges, and there is currently no cure. We need to change that reality.
Every person with CF experiences this disease in their own way, but one thing remains clear: they deserve the opportunity to live long, healthy lives. Thanks to groundbreaking research funded by the CF Foundation, life expectancy and quality of life have improved significantly, but there’s still work to be done.
By donating to my team, Thopsey’s Trekkers, you can help propel the next breakthrough—bringing us closer to a cure for everyone with CF. Your support helps fund research and life-changing treatments and ensures no one is left behind on this journey. Will you help us turn hope into reality?
