Meet Ryan: Our Little Fighter
Ryan turned 2 years old on June 3, 2025. He's curious, funny, strong-willed, and absolutely unstoppable. But what many people don't see is the weight he carries every day-the weight of Cystic Fibrosis.
CF is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. But thanks to breakthroughs in science, especially life-changing medications like Trikafta, Ryan is experiencing a quality of life we once only dreamed of.
From a Father's Heart
As Ryan's dad, watching him face each day with bravery has changed me forever. I will carry kettlebells during this walk not just for fitness-but because it's the closest I'll ever get to understanding the invisible burden he bears every moment. It's heavy. It's relentless. But it's nothing compared to what he fights through, and I'll carry it proudly. I also have a new goal to love to 100 so I can make sure to be here for my boys!
Why We Walk. Why We Carry.
While Ryan plays, grows, and thrives-he's also fighting. He's too young to understand the full scope of what he's up against, but we're not. That's why we carry the weight-literally.
This year, in honor of Ryan and all the CF warriors who don't have the option to set the weight down, we're participating in a walk where we carry heavy kettlebells. Because the weight our loved ones with CF carry is more than most will ever experience.
Join Us. Support Us. Carry With Us.
Every dollar you donate goes directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to fund groundbreaking research, treatments, and ultimately, a cure. We've come so far, but science costs money-and there's still work to do.
Ryan's Renegades. Always Forward. Never Alone.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I'm walking to help change that reality.
