Cowtown Marathon

The Breathe Team represents not just our runners' dedication and passion, but also the hope and determination that drive us to find a cure. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting, join us as we lace up our shoes, breathe in deeply, and run towards a cure for CF through the Historical Stockyards and the atmosphere of downtown Fort Worth!

How to join the Breathe Team and register for the Cowtown Marathon:

Step 1:

To join the Breathe Team at the 2026 Cowtown Marathon, you would first need to register with us through this website. No fee is required but we encourage you to make a personal donation during registration to kick off your fundraising efforts. Once you have completed your registration, we will send you a promo-code that will allow you to register for whatever distance you choose at no cost. After that you are all set to begin fundraising through our Breathe Team platform! Please note that if you fundraise through the Cowtown website, the funds do not go toward CFF or your fundraising minimum.

Step 2:

When you receive the promo-code, you would then need to visit the Cowtown Marathon Team registration page to register under the "Breathe Team"(this link should auto-populate the Breathe Team when signing up, so you shouldn't need to search for the team). If you don’t use the link above that auto-fills you to the Breathe Team when registering, you can find our team in the “open” category when searching for teams during the registration process. You will enter the promo-code provided by us at the bottom of the Cowtown registration page. Once you complete this process, you are ready to run for the Breathe Team at the 2026 Cowtown Marathon!!

Once you register with Cowtown, you are officially a Breathe Team runner! If you have any issues getting signed up or if you have already registered for Cowtown but would like to join the Breathe Team, you can contact Chad Salyer at csalyer@cff.org or 214-871-2222.
