Hello,
Thanks for visiting my page! My Xtreme hike team members and I are well on our way to reaching our fundraising goal, but we still need your help. We have been training for over a month and the big hike is coming up soon. That means time is almost up for you to contribute to the cause.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure. There is currently no cure and too many people with CF die young. I’m hiking to help change that.
Every person born with CF is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. This includes Zoe, the daughter of our team leader, who is our inspiration. While there are promising treatments and progress is being made towards a cure, we need your help so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
