In 2000, I began working for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and over the past 26 years I’ve had the privilege of witnessing tremendous progress in the fight against CF. What was once a childhood disease with limited treatment options has transformed because of groundbreaking research, new therapies, and the unwavering support of this community.
 

But there is still more work to do.
 

Not every person with CF can benefit from the current therapies, and there is still no cure. That’s why fundraising events like Great Strides continue to matter so deeply.
 

This community means so much to me. The individuals and families affected by CF have become my extended family, and I will continue to do all that I can to help move us closer to making CF stand for Cure Found.
