Jameson's Great Strides Story
Fundraising for Fort Worth Great Strides 2026
Mandy White
Meet Jameson, a brave 6-year-old living with cystic fibrosis (CF), a genetic disorder that causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. This leads to breathing problems, digestive issues, and other serious complications.
Every day, Jameson faces challenges many of us take for granted, including daily airway clearance therapy to help him breathe, multiple medications, frequent clinic visits and hospital stays, an increased risk of infections, and mental health and emotional challenges. Recently, Jameson began the breakthrough treatment Trikafta, a life-changing therapy that targets the underlying cause of CF and represents a major advancement in treatment and hope for the future.
Through it all, Jameson continues to shine with resilience, courage, and persistence. His light provided him the opportunity to serve as a Patient Ambassador for his local hospital this year; but he was also a voice of cystic fibrosis, as he loves to call "his 65 Roses".
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission is clear: to fight for a cure, not just for Jameson, but for everyone living with CF. With continued research, advancements in treatment, and strong community support, we believe a cure is within reach. Your donations and your support made his new treatment of Trikafta possible!
Together, as one family, we can bring hope, progress, and one day, a cure. Join Team Jameson as we walk in support and celebrate the great strides being made in the fight against cystic fibrosis.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
