Tailgate to Tackle CF is a spin on a classic football tailgate that brings people together for a day of fun, food, and purpose. Hosted at Lucky’s Burger and Brew in Roswell, GA, the event features live bands, a silent auction, a Pub Pull, and plenty of game-day excitement as we cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs. It is a family and dog friendly event built to feel welcoming, energetic, and meaningful.

I started Tailgate to Tackle CF for my cousins, Gavin and Jake, who both live with cystic fibrosis. CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections and often leads to severe lung damage and respiratory failure. There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis.

Every person born with CF is on a different journey and experiences the disease in their own way. While medical progress has been made, there is still a long road ahead for far too many families. I wanted to help change that reality by turning something I love, football Saturdays, into a way to raise money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Tailgate to Tackle CF is about having a great time, building community, and helping move us closer to a cure so everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
