Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

On October 3, 2026, I will climb onto my bike in Lexington, Massachusetts and begin a 65-mile ride in the 29th Annual Cycle for Life to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I've set a personal goal of raising $2,000, and I'm asking for your help to get there.

For most of us, breathing is something we never think twice about. It's automatic. Effortless. But for people living with cystic fibrosis, every breath can be a struggle.

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes thick mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. Over time, it makes breathing harder and harder, while also preventing the body from absorbing the nutrients it needs to survive. For those living with CF, daily life often includes hours of treatments, medications, and therapies just to maintain their health.

Despite those challenges, the CF community continues to fight with incredible strength and resilience. Thanks to organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the generosity of supporters, groundbreaking research has transformed what used to be a childhood disease into one where many patients are now living longer and fuller lives than ever before. But the fight isn't over. There is still no cure.

That's why I'm riding.

The 65 miles I'll ride this October will be physically demanding. There will be long stretches of road, tired legs, and moments when it would be easier to stop. But every time the ride gets difficult, I'll remember that the people living with cystic fibrosis face challenges far greater than a long bike ride.

Every mile will be for them.
Every donation brings hope.
Every dollar will be a step closer to a cure.
