This year marks the 29th anniversary of the Massachusetts CF Cycle for Life event. Last year, my cousin Haylee Reed, the namesake of the original ride, Cycle for Haylee, passed away on August 24th, a day after her 28th birthday and courageous lifetime battle with CF. Again, for this year, I'm dedicating my fundraising efforts in her memory.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and  many people with CF die way too young. CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
By donating to my Virtual Rider fundraising page, you'll be donating to a cause members of my family have been passionate about for 29 years. Together, we have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
I am praying for another successful year in 2026! Thank you for your support and may God Bless you.
