September 2026 will seven years since I lost my little brother Daniel to Cystic Fibrosis. In his memory, I’ll be joining the Breathe Team to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at the Marine Corp. Marathon in D.C. in October 2026, and I'm asking humbly for your support!

Danny fought Cystic Fibrosis tirelessly for over 18 years. His days were filled with a minimum of twice daily physiotherapy, aerosol treatments, dozens of pills. Danny lived life to the fullest despite the health challenges he faced. He loved running, hunting & fishing, and spending time with friends and family. In the spring of 2019, it became clear Daniel needed new lungs. About 6 months after relocating to North Carolina so he could be listed for a double lung transplant, Daniel developed pneumonia and was hospitalized. After a grueling 30 days in the ICU praying new lungs would come, Danny lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis on September 25th, 2019.

We carry the pain of losing Daniel every day, but our family continues the fight we started together in the hope fewer families will endure the loss we did. The advancements we've seen in Cystic Fibrosis care since we lost Daniel are nothing short of remarkable. When Daniel was born in 2000, the median survival age for CF was mid 30's. Now, the median survival age for those born with CF between 2019 and 2024 is 61!

That is why we keep fighting. If you can, please consider making a donation to my efforts to run in Daniel's memory.

Thank you for the continued support and generosity you have shown us throughout the years.
