My Breathe Team Story
Fundraising for Marine Corps Marathon 2026

I’m Running for Cole.
When my nephew, Cole, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at just 8 days old, our family's world shifted overnight. Today, Cole is three years old, and watching him grow is a daily reminder of how precious every single breath is. I am running the Marine Corps Marathon as a proud member of Team Breathe for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation because I want to change the reality for Cole and everyone fighting this disease.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening illness that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It makes it incredibly difficult to breathe and fight off life-threatening infections. Currently, there is no cure, and far too many people with CF die young.
Every single person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique, challenging journey. While major medical progress has been made since Cole was born, a long road lies ahead. We need a cure so that Cole - and every person living with CF - has the chance to live a long, full, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to directly advance the groundbreaking research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward. Every mile I run is for Cole, and every dollar you give brings us closer to a cure.
