It's been 9 years since we said goodbye. I still think of you all the time. I know how much you loved Gteat Strides and Team Cassie. We had so much fun fundraising for a cure and walking with our friends and family. I wish that stupid Cystic Fibrosis would disappear and no one would have to go through what you did. I will continue to tell people about your fight and how amazing, graceful, loving, humble, funny, and strong you were and how you live on through your daughter and family memories. I know that by the grace of God he has saved you, you are healed, and I will see you again! I still wish you were with us everyday. Will this walk be hard? Yes, but I will walk for you!
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
