We are participating in Great Strides this year in honor of our son, Silas, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when he was only two weeks old. For more than 30 years, Great Strides – the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event – has helped fuel the Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and raise awareness for this rare, genetic, life-threatening disease.

By donating and/or participating with us, you can help fund the pursuit of new therapies and provide vital support to meet the needs of our CF community. Recent developments in gene-based technologies represent an unprecedented opportunity to end CF as we know it. We are thrilled for these medical advances that have brought us one step closer to a cure – and the funds raised at Great Strides will help us reach this goal.

The 2026 annual Milwaukee event is tentatively on May 17th this year. All money raised from Stone Creek will be donated to the 2026 campaign!
