Peregrin was officially diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at just one year old, though in my heart I knew from his very first sweat test what the answer would be. Even with all the incredible medical progress that’s been made, the reality of this disease is still frightening. No parent should have to wonder whether their child will grow old — yet that fear is something we live with every day.
