We are thrilled to share that this fall, we will again both be participating in the CF Foundation's XTREME Hike!  This endurance event will be a 18+ mile hike through Palo Duro Canyon on Saturday, October 25th.

As many of you know, in past years, we participated in the CF Cycle for Life.  We were first introduced to that event, and the work of the CF Foundation, in 2016, the year Abigail was born and diagnosed with CF.  

This will be the 2nd year for the North Texas Chapter to host the XTREME Hike, and we are dedicated as ever to the cause!  We are here to honor and support our daughter Abigail and find a CURE for all of those living with cystic fibrosis.

Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues.  

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. 

Our story is unique because Abigail is part of the 10% of the CF population that cannot benefit from current modulator drugs that treat the root cause of CF.  We are hiking to raise the financial support needed for research to find a CURE for her!
