Axolotl Unicorns
This year Tavie (axolotl fan) will be striding with their big sister Maddie (unicorns all-day-long) and birth-mom Kayla.
Tavie and Maddie both have CF and--thanks to CFF funded research that led to modern modulator medication--are both healthy, energetic, and tough to keep up with when there are rides and cotton candy at the end of the walk!
But it's NOT all good news. With our government tearing down NIH, NSF and science research in general, future treatments and an eventual cure are for the first time in our lifetimes getting FURTHER away, not closer.
The importance of the CFF as a private funder of research for a cure is more important now than ever.
