Friends and Family!
Here I am once again to tell you how fabulous the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is and that if you find yourself looking for a wonderful cause - this is the one!
The median age of survival has now jumped to 65! An increase of 4 years in just the last year -- and 27 years since Nate was born!
This is DIRECTLY from the CFF and their funding of research.
We need to keep our foot on the gas...the new, miracle meds don't work for everyone...we need a miracle med for everyone. More importantly, we need a CURE!
We are blessed beyond measure that Nate continues to do really well. He continues to work hard to fight the odds. He still does about 45 mins of treatment a day -- thank goodness tennis counts as part of that treatment. He's still riding the high of meeting Taylor Fritz -- his idol and world #8 tennis player. He stepped out of his comfort zone and tried indoor track this winter, is checking out lots of colleges in anticipation of 2027, and loving all things chemistry and math (clearly not inherited from me).

Thank you for the bottom of this mama's heart for considering supporting the CFF! You know I hate asking for anything - let alone your hard earned cash - but for my baby, I'll do anything.
