Hey yall! I’m Jocelyn but I go by Joce. I’m 30 years old and have had CF since I was a baby. I’ve been in and out of hospitals, take many breathing treatments, on several meds, and on a life changing med called Alyftrek that has helped immensely by helping me stay out of the hospital so I can be home with my kiddos. For the first 6 years of my marriage, I was in the hospital every other month. Since starting Trikafta in 2019 and then Alyftrek in 2025, I’ve only been in the hospital once a year. But I can also do IV antibiotics at home too. I have 2 beautiful little girls who have mine and my husband’s gene mutations for CF but fortunately are showing NO signs or symptoms of CF as of now. So that’s a little bit about me!
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
So please help me reach my goal for this year! I know it’s not much but I felt it was realistic for me. Let’s make CF stand for Cure Found!
