Hi!
I met an incredible friend named Izaeah with cystic fibrosis in 2020, and he is the reason I made this team and why I’m fundraising for the CF foundation.
Izaeah was a one of a kind human with the kindest soul of anyone I’ve ever known. He was from New Zealand, so I never had the chance to meet him in person or give him a hug, but he was a friend to me during the loneliest time in my life. We’d play Minecraft together and talk nonsense for hours on end on the phone.
Izaeah fought for Trikafta to be publicly funded in New Zealand, which was a great pride of his. He had a beautiful girlfriend named Brooke who he’d tell me about, and in 2023 she became his wife.
Izaeah passed away this year on September 27th. He was 25. I miss him a lot. The fight to find a cure for CF was important to him, and it is important to me.
There is no cure for cystic fibrosis, and too many people with CF die young.
Please help us find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
