We can’t wait for Year 3 of Jammin for Johnny!
We have truly seen first hand the incredible impact of the life changing medications that have come to life through the incredible work of the CF Foundation, including Trikafta. Johnny started this when he was just 1 year old, and since then, his life has changed dramatically. The ball of mucus sitting in Johnny’s sinuses dissipated, he was no longer in a constant cycle of sinus infections, ongoing chest congestion and antibiotics. He has not been hospitalized since his first year of life! One of the biggest (and most shocking) blessings of all is that after 1 year on Trikafta, Johnny’s pancreas was retested, and early intervention with this miracle drug has reversed Johnny’s pancreatic insufficiency. He no longer has to take pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy before all meals and snacks! His pancreas is functioning as it should be! Something that’s was for him considered an inevitability that would soon become irreversible is no longer his reality. An absolutely huge win for him in quality of life.
We can only pray and fight for a future where ALL people with CF can benefit from these incredible breakthroughs, and continue to fight towards our ultimate goal: FINDING A CURE FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS!
