Welcome to Team Victory for Vivi! For those of you new here, Vivian was diagnosed with CF at just 2 weeks old. CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure. Vivian has proven from day one that she is a fighter and the bravest little girl we know. 

Her road in life has not been an easy one with surgeries, multiple hospital stays lasting a week or longer, daily breathing treatments, and more medications than we’ve taken in our lifetime combined.Through it all, she grins and bears it, participates in her health journey, and makes it fun! She is such a little spit fire and our hero. 

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and it remains a battle every day for these amazing humans. The progress the CF community has made is nothing short of a miracle and it’s because of fundraisers like Great Strides that Vivian has treatments and medications available that are saving her life. Trikafta continues to be a game changer in her experience with CF and we want to keep the research momentum going until CF stands for Cure Found. 

The love and support from our family, friends, and strangers is astounding and we appreciate you all. Let’s keep this fight rolling and come stride with us for a cure!
