WELCOME TO MCKEE’S MISSION!

As parents, our greatest wish is for our children to live long, healthy, happy lives. For our family, that wish is the heart of our fight against cystic fibrosis (CF).

Our children, Landon (16) and Karlee (10), are both CF warriors. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects the lungs and other organs, requiring daily treatments, medications, breathing treatments, airway clearance, and constant monitoring to help them stay as healthy as possible.

Over the years, we have witnessed incredible advancements in CF research and treatments that have changed the future for so many families like ours. Today, both Landon and Karlee are taking Alyftrek, a medication that represents just how far research has come. We are incredibly grateful for the scientists, researchers, donors, and advocates who have helped make these advancements possible.

But there is still no cure, and not everyone with CF has access to a treatment that works for them. There are still families waiting for answers, better treatments, and breakthroughs that could change their lives. Until everyone with CF has the opportunity to live a long, healthy life, our mission continues.

This year marks our 16th Great Strides walk with McKee’s Mission! For 16 years, we have walked, fundraised, shared our story, and supported the fight against cystic fibrosis. We have seen tremendous progress, and we are hopeful for what the future holds. Every step forward reminds us why this fight matters so much.
