Got Your Back Jack

In January of last year, just 2 weeks after Jack was born, we learned he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. This hard news was also delivered with a lot of hope - there have been great strides in CF research in recent years and Jack will receive great care because of this! We have watched him grow and thrive because of the early intervention that has been available to him and we thank God for the great care he has gotten, as well as the fact that when he is 2 he will be able to be on a modulator that will greatly reduce the effects of CF on his body daily. We also thank God for the great community He has surrounded Jack with in YOU. We know that you, with us, have Got Jack's Back and we would love to see you on walk day to help us surround our boy in a tangible way.

So, we invite you to take part in Great Strides by joining our team! While CF is a frustrating and hard thing, we are thankful for a day like Great Strides to bring some joy and fun. Together we can help advance the care and research needed to cure cystic fibrosis. By walking with us, we get to surround Jack and others like him with community while also celebrating the important impact we are making together.

What we've learned over the past year is that while the CF Foundation has made incredible progress, not everyone with CF can benefit from existing therapies and we still need a cure! This will require time, funding, and persistence. We would be honored if you joined us in raising funds so that the research can go on.

Here's something we learned last year when building our team: you don't have to sign up as a fundraiser! It will give you that option but you can just select no and then sign up to walk. If you want to donate, you can donate to one of the team members who is shown as a fundraiser. *Note: if you do sign up as a fundraiser and raise $100 you'll get a CF Great Strides t-shirt. If you do so a month in advance, you could get that shirt in time for walk day!
