Life for jackson has been different since day one! Jackson has endured more then most child ever will endure due to CF. Countless nights in the emergancy room to constant blood work and other tests just to make sure he stays healthy. From getting a psa and being out on some very heavy hitting medicine to spending days in the hospital on O2. His life has had more ups and downs than a rollercoaster.
But this does not and will not stop him! For those who know jackson he is the most energetic and strong willed child ever!
Even in respiratory distress he kept moving kept running kept playing he didn't slow down. Even when running a fever of 104 and coughing all he wants to do is play, move, and be free.
Life for jackson is and wont be easy the hurdles he will and has faced are enormous but with his will he finds a way. With the help of modulars he is doing much much better and we hope with the help of the community one day CF will stand for CURE FOUND. But until then this brave little man will always find a way to keep moving forward
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I'm walking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
