There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality.
I have been engaged in CFF fundraising since 2010. I have been employed at Woodstock Sterile Solutions since 1997. We are a pharmaceutical company manufacturing life-saving Cystic Fibrosis medications over 30 years. "We see a patient in every dose manufactured", is something we take personally. I have had co-workers family members that had this awful disease. The toll CF takes on the entire family, not just the patient is so devasting. I do not have a family member with CF. I have made connections with patients that use the products that we make for our customers. I have listened to patient stories of their journey of how the medication brings them relief and the ability to breathe better. These are the things that some of us take for granted. I am grateful to be able to be able to participate with CFF and help raise awareness.
