Philadelphia Marathon 2026
Philadelphia Marathon 2026
The beautiful, fast, and scenic Philadelphia Marathon course guides athletes past historic landmarks, through vibrant urban neighborhoods, and along Philadelphia's picturesque waterfronts. Join more than 30,000 athletes for an unforgettable race weekend, whether you are taking on the 8k, Half Marathon or Full Marathon.
All courses are USATF‑certified, and the Philadelphia Marathon is an official Boston Marathon qualifier. With a stunning route and an electric race day atmosphere, it's no surprise we're consistently ranked among the top ten marathons in the country celebrated for our mellow fall weather and incredibly spirited fans.
Expect sweeping views through Fairmount Park and along the Schuylkill River, and enthusiastic neighborhood support in University City and Manayunk. You'll weave through the storied streets of our historic district, passing sights familiar to Franklin, Washington, and the rest of the city's legends, before charging toward a dramatic finish at the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
