My Breathe Team Story
Fundraising for Philadelphia Marathon 2026
Nathaneul Benioff
Hi everyone,
This Philadelphia Marathon weekend, I am proud to be running the Rothman 8K as part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s CF Team!
While I don't have a direct personal connection to CF, this cause deeply resonates with me. As a runner, I know I am fortunate to have healthy lungs and the ability to run. I want to use my miles to run for those who face daily struggles with breathing and lung function due to CF.
Currently, there is no cure for cystic fibrosis, and far too many people with CF die at an early age. I’m running to help change that reality.
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It makes it difficult to breathe and fight off life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While incredible progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this condition. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has the opportunity to live a long, healthy life.
Will you join me in helping to end cystic fibrosis?
By donating toward my fundraising goal, you directly power the research, science, and breakthroughs needed to achieve our shared dream: a cure for everyone living with CF.
Thank you so much for your support and generosity!
