My spouse, Kari Rose, lives with cystic fibrosis—a relentless genetic disease that still has no cure. Too many people with CF face shortened lives. That’s why I’m taking on this cycling challenge: to help change that reality.
Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs, making it difficult to breathe and fight off serious infections. Over time, it can lead to severe lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person with CF experiences this disease differently, but the challenges are always real—and often overwhelming.
While research has brought meaningful progress, there’s still a long way to go. We need a cure so that everyone living with CF has the chance to lead a longer, healthier life.
I’m riding with purpose, hope, and determination—but I can’t do this alone.
