Hello ZOE fans!!! As you know there is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I continue to fundraise by cycling to help change that reality!!
Zoe received a double lung transplant in July 2025! She is doing great and she would have been one of those statistics. When she was just 30 days old they told me the average lifespan of someone with CF was only 27! She celebrated 30 years in February! We are so grateful.
CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure. CF continues impacts other organs that still need a cure!
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
