Miles for Molly
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I'm hiking to help change that reality.
My sister, Molly Moran, was diagnosed with CF after she was born. Watching her battle through every appointment, treatment, and tough days has inspired me more than anything else. From the constant reminders for Molly to take her pills, to the McDonald's after a long day at the doctor's office. Molly is one tough sister (a little annoying too lol).
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. For my family, that means daily medications, treatments, and a constant hope for a cure. My parents have been extremely supportive, especially my mom who will be hiking with me in Sedona. Together, we're doing this for Molly and every other family walking the same path.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward - a cure for everyone with CF.
