Seventeen years ago, a doctor told a new mom not to Google cystic fibrosis - the stories she'd find would be frightening. But what he said next gave her the hope she needed: if there were ever a time to be born with CF, it is now. She was told about an organization that was diligently working to develop a powerful research pipeline in the quest to create longer, fuller lives, better treatments, and *hopefully* a cure for all who live with CF - including her newborn son. In that moment, the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation became mine, too.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a progressive, genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. Those living with CF face tremendous challenges, including frequent hospital stays, ongoing complications, and daily treatment routines that can take several hours. Even with the incredible advancements made in recent years, many children and adults with CF still face the harsh reality of a shortened life expectancy.

To raise awareness and funding for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, I will attempt to hike 30miles on the Appalachian Trail on May 2nd. Please make a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal and help advance the research that will end CF. I would greatly appreciate your support!

Will you help me end cystic fibrosis?
