Alora’s Mountain Movers are taking on the North Carolina Xtreme Hike to Cure CF — a 30-mile, one-day hike on the Appalachian Trail — to finally put an end to CF.

My daughter Alora is 9 years old. She is joyful, brave, funny, strong, and full of life — and every day, she fights CF.

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It can make breathing harder, infections more dangerous, and daily life complicated. While incredible progress has been made, there is still no cure. Too many people with CF still face an uncertain future.

Every mile on the trail represents the climb that Alora and so many CF fighters face every day: the treatments, the appointments, the medications, the setbacks, the hope, and the courage it takes to keep moving forward.

Please consider donating, sharing, or cheering us on as we take on 30 miles for every CF fighter, and for a future where CF no longer cuts lives short.

Together, we can move mountains!
