I’m gearing up for the Steamboat Xtreme Hike this September - an endurance challenge on the trails of Steamboat Springs, climbing high into the Rockies. I’m hiking for two reasons: my daughters, and every family living with cystic fibrosis.
Both of our girls, Meryl (7) and Simone (18 months), were born with CF. This genetic disease affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs, making everyday life more difficult. While they are full of strength and joy, CF is a daily reality - and it’s why I’m taking on this opportunity to fund raise.
The progress we’ve seen - new treatments, better care, and more hope - has only been possible because of people like you. But the fight isn’t over.
Every mile I hike is a step toward a future where Meryl, Simone, and everyone with CF can live long, healthy lives.
Will you join me in this fight? Your support fuels research, advances treatments, and brings us closer to a cure.
Thank you for standing with Mighty Meryl and Strong Simone - and with every family still fighting.
