Ready to go the distance and join us for the 2026 Novant Health Wilmington Beach to Boardwalk Marathon as part of the Breath Team? Start at sunrise with breathtaking Wrightsville Beach views and a lightning-fast, flat course.
By participating, you have the power to change thousands of lives impacted by cystic fibrosis. Your support helps the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fund the research and care needed to help advance a cure for this disease. While we've made significant progress, we still have a long way to go. We still lose precious lives to CF every day. You can help us accelerate progress. Now is the time to act. To have the best experience possible, we ask that every runner takes the time to prepare physically and that you are willing to commit to raising the fundraising minimum, or more, for the cause. Every dollar raised supports our mission to provide adults and children with CF in the U.S. a better chance at living a long, healthy life.
The backdrop for setting personal bests with a fast, flat, and scenic point to point race. With a flat course this is the fastest paced course on the East Coast. Enjoy a fun and scenic race running by the beach and historic downtown!

Fundraise: Fundraising is easy. Use the participant center, the CFF mobile app, or fundraise on Facebook to reach your goal. You can also host a passion fundraising event and check if your employer offers a matching gift program to increase the impact of your efforts.
