Hello, family and friends!
This February, Lindsay will be running the Wilmington Half Marathon in support of the CF Foundation. The Foundation is making tremendous strides toward a cure, and we are so grateful for every dollar contributed toward this effort.
Cameron continues to thrive on Trikafta, and we are reminded every day that we have the Foundation and generous donors like you to thank for her good health and bright future. About 10% of people with CF are still waiting for an effective therapy, and we are all waiting for a cure. Thank you for helping make both of these goals a reality. About CF: CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
