Hi Everybody!
May is Cystic Fibrosis awareness month, so I figured now would be a good time to share that my Sister (Cori White) and I are participating in the CF Xtreme Hike this fall. We will be hiking 30 miles in one day through Potawatomi State Park in Door County, WI to raise funds and awareness for CF. We are hiking as part of the Falcone Four team in memory of Samantha and Nick and to raise funds so we can one day find a cure for Nathan and Gabby.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m hiking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
