Wisconsin Xtreme Hike
Wisconsin Xtreme Hike
Our Xtreme Hike event is a long-distance, 30-mile hike that challenges participants to push their limits both physically and philanthropically. We ask all hikers to meet or exceed a $2,500 suggested fundraising minimum to be able to hike that weekend for this logistic-heavy event. This covers all hiker expenses for this weekend event including accommodations, on-route lunch, beverages, on-site medical assistance, fully stocked rest stops, hiker welcome items, hiker bag, swag, etc.
Before Hike weekend, we encourage several practice hike locations in varied locations in Southeastern Wisconsin as well as a detailed workout calendar to help build endurance. On Hike weekend, hikers will be led by volunteer hike guides on the trail, following national park and COVID-19 standards, as they make their way through varied routes throughout Potawatomi State Park, hiking along the shore of Sturgeon Bay with a truly varied trail route. We include several rest stops hikers will encounter hosted by additional volunteers that include abundant amounts of protein-rich snacks, fresh fruit and vegetables, lunch, drinks, and first aid/medical volunteers. We are proud to include additions and new items each year to our rest stops and our event overall!
We are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to bring together a dedicated group to this sought-after area in Wisconsin and sincerely want you there with us. This route, this weekend, this true comradery centers around hardworking individuals like yourself who are dedicated to these 30 miles and beyond.
