I have friends whose children are battling Cystic Fibrosis. Like any parent, they dream of giving their kiddos a normal childhood- running, laughing, and growing up without limits. But CF can make every breath a struggle.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
By supporting CF research, we are giving these children and thousands like them the chance at longer, healthier, fuller lives. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
