I am a proud CF Sister
If you know me, you most likely know my sister Robyn. What you may not know, especially if you have met her recently, is that she has been fighting to not just survive, but THRIVE living with CF. She has conquered countless hurdles with her health (wayyy too many to list), and because of the important research the CF Foundation is doing, her outcomes have improved drastically in recent years.
For many years I have walked by Robyn’s side supporting “Team Robyn” and CFF at Great Strides walks in San Francisco, San Diego, Washington DC, and most recently Walnut Creek. This year, we are taking it to the XTREME and hiking in Yosemite to benefit CFF for my “double chai” birthday. In Judaism chai means “life”, and it only feels fitting that this weekend will be celebrating not only another year of my life, but the life of my sister and all the incredible things she has accomplished!
Team Robyn raised over $25,000 (!!) for CFF as Robyn was honored as Nor Cal Great Strides ambassador this year. Robyn is now passing the baton to me as we start training for Yosemite. Will you join me in my leg of the relay, and donate to our team?
P.S. Nutanix friends - George has organized an employee match, so your donation will have double the impact
About Cystic Fibrosis
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m hiking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
