My Hike Story
Our 2026 Xtreme Hike is dedicated to the Koprowski family and team “P&B’s Posse” – 4-year-old Palmer and 2-year-old Beckett. Daughter and son of Reggie and Ashley – devoted parents, loving care givers and Super Star fund raisers for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In addition to participating in Great Strides and hosting their annual golf tournament, Reggie and Ashley will be fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation this fall while running the Chicago Marathon! 

Special thanks to Maci Gallagher who works with Ashley and brought our families together based on our shared passion - finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. 

What is Cystic Fibrosis?
CF affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues. 

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering development of dozens of CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
