Dear Friends,

This October, I’ll be heading to Yosemite for another Hike for a Cure with an amazing group of friends. This will be my 14th or 15th CF Hike  I’ve done over the years, and I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to keep doing something that has become such a meaningful part of my life.

Last year’s hike in the Grand Canyon was phenomenal, and together we raised more than $7,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year, I’m hoping we can do even better.

I’ve been training for several months—lots of hiking, stairs, and time getting my legs ready for Yosemite. I’m hoping all that work will not only help me raise more money, but also improve my completion time!

But this year is especially meaningful because I’ll be hiking with my son, Ben. Ben actually did his first CF Hike back in 2012 in Massachusetts—completely against the rules because he was only 12 years old! He’s been part of these hikes in one way or another for years, so having him alongside me in Yosemite will make this one particularly special.
