Boston Marathon

The Massachusetts Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is excited to announce the Breathe Team for the 2025 Boston Marathon! The mission of the Breathe Team is to encourage supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to combine their dedication to the Foundation with their passion for running to bring us closer to a cure for cystic fibrosis!
Ready to go the distance and help us support our Boston Marathon runners, run to cure cystic fibrosis? By donating, you have the power to change thousands of lives. Your support helps the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fund the research and care needed to help advance a cure for this disease. While we've made significant progress, we still have a long way to go. We still lose precious lives to CF every day. You can help us accelerate progress. Now is the time to act.
The Boston Marathon is an annual marathon race hosted by several cities and towns in greater Boston in eastern Massachusetts. The Boston Marathon is the world's oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world's best-known road racing events. It is one of seven World Marathon Majors. Its course runs from Hopkinton in southern Middlesex County to Copley Square in Boston.
To have the best experience possible, we ask that every runner takes the time to prepare physically and that you are willing to commit to raising the fundraising minimum, or more, for the cause. Every dollar raised supports our mission to provide adults and children with CF in the U.S. a better chance at living a long, healthy life.
Registration for 2025 Boston Marathon has closed, please contact Tracy Lund at tlund@cff.org for the 2026 Boston Marathon waitlist.
